You'll be right at the edge of 30 days from the statement.  They'll probably still waive the fee but even if they don't they'll prorate it.

you mean the second statement with the bonus MR points will be at the edge of 30 days from the first?

The CO PP card doesnt get you in the club.  When you get a CO PP card it comes with a Presidents club card that gets you in the club.
I'd assume that they revoke the membership upon cancellation of the card but I do not know for sure.

Aha ty dan for that,so with the amex plat is there a fee for adding add cardmembers and if it is canceled within 30 days will all of them work?

when i went to the link to get the card, it only says "upgrade now". it doesn't say "apply now". is that for any specific reason? do i first need to have a different Amex card to upgrade from?

i've been waiting for me to have good credit before applying for a Amex cc. i've had the BofA card for the past few months to start off my credit. how long do i need to wait till i'm safe to get thru with this amex plat card?
also, if i'm denied a card does that make problems in my credit score, which would make me need to wait longer for a real card?

it says on the website that adding additional cards (up to 3) are $175 each. i would guess that they should all work... but i've never done it.

You need to clear out the cache and cookies from your browser and then click on the AMEX Plat link again.
