What do I do with a Citi AA card I don't want anymore?

Won't that prevent me from churning AA in 18 months? I thought you needed to get rid of your AA cards before you can churn again

You can have as many open aa cards as you want, if you want to go with the 18 month rule it starts from when you first got the card.

Good point. Just call them up and say I'm thinking of canceling because of the fee, and is there any kind of retention bonus they can offer me? Or do I need to be more subtle
