Was the meal full of tourists or business men?
There were maybe 40 people mostly business men and locals

Hmm...Burn Jetsetter credit for 2 nights here with a private pool, but be a 25 minute taxi to the chabad house: http://www.jetsetter.com/hotels/vietnam/ho-chi-minh-city/2777/an-lam-saigon-river?nm=serplist&cl=2&ca=view-more

Or use 2 Hyatt anniversary certs here and be walking distance to chabad?

I would take the PH

Pics of that 'hotel' look like they are overrating the place.

Just make sure you get to NZ before moish :D

Forgot to say, both are rated #1 on TR:

Does that change anything?

Don't have the time to do NZ.  Thinking of 3 nights in SIN and 2 nights anywhere nearby with kosher food, which is why SGN came to mind. Have a better suggestion?

Haven't you been to SIN already? Trying to catch SINEWR before it's cancelled?

I haven't been to Vietnam so I am clueless.

I don't think I've ever been parts of Asia where you haven't, but I've heard Siem Reap, Cambodia is very interesting.

As far as hotels, I don't think being far from chabad is such an issue, I doubt theres anything going on there during the week anyway. I personally prefer city to beach but that just depends what you're looking for.

Yes, I tried, even payed for a visa but didn't work out for some reason.

You can check out Taipei. Awesome W hotel. Hard to find info re the kosher food but theres a member here who knows.

If you've never been to Shanghai that's definitely a must. Whatever you do, do not order tuna sushi at chabad there.

What went wrong with the Visa?
Shanghai is too cold in the winter.
Taipei would be cool but UA.com/AP.com isn't showing the SQ nonstops :(

Should be identical to Evergreen. Just make sure you click through on evergreen to make sure it's not waitlisted.

BTW they serve Hermolis.
