I've had nothing but bad experiences with United as well. I know you all say their mileage program is the best value, but to me it's just not worth it.

I assume award I can't imagine United treating a paying first class passenger that bad

But I have been on paid first international (well, long story, not out of my pocket.....) and been treated poorly, so I don't think that's true.

It does. It was an award. Here's betting he bought it from a mileage broker

UA is capable of everything these days. Just take a look on FT. The airline is disintegrating by the minute. One region-wide IRROPs and they will be finished.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if that guy triggered that by being rude and arrogant.

I fly UA often and can believe this story. Hope he gets more then $150 compensation and they discipline UA employee involved. Not guaranteed after merger.

How did you speak to him? Is he a DDF member? On FT they dug up some other posts of his where he's looking to buy miles.

has anyone experianced a delay causing them to have to stay shabbos? what happened?
i have friends that got a hotel over shabbos in chile but then again that was i think LAN, and they were a group, so i guess harder to push away?.. i guess if the FT OP got stuck missing the connection in the connection city, they may have had better luck..

The guy was stupid in the first place to post there
1. Eisav soineh.... they'll dig something up
2. the half that's not atheists will never understand yiddsihkeit, shabbos etc;
3.all his dirty language (this was an opportunity to show your above the street)
4.his expecting $2000 for clothes fits right into the anti semitic streotype.

but now that it's done, who knows, maybe some lost jew will read about shabbos for the first time and it will be for the positive (just why all the dirty language).
