There are two things that might happen if they bring backup.
1) The same as the LA riots, and then the media will blame it on the cops obviously.
2) They will actually be successful in stopping them, and the media will go even more haywire.

I wouldn't blame it only on him. After Ferguson, Baltimore, etc, cops all over the country and especially in big cities are scared, and bums like these are empowered. (Bums is really too nice for them)

He tied their hands. He’s taken away effective policing tools of theirs. He used to be an “activist” so you know who’s side he’s on. The cops don’t feel like he has their backs.

This wasn't a riot in response to guilty cops getting off. It wasn't a riot at all.

Not yet. But if the cops responded in force it could very easily be a catalyst for that.

Nobody would do that. Occasionally somebody might resist being thrown to the ground & cuffed if he feels he did nothing wrong, but even then the cops never feel that they’re in any danger. When’s the last time someone in BP shot or assaulted a cop ? Ask any cop which neighborhood they’d like to be assigned to & which they dread.
