Help with Air Berlin Booking

If I travel lax-yvr on UA and then spend a few days and connect to Air Berlin - YVR-DUS-TLV...will I get three bags (*G) for the flight as on UA since first leg was UA or will I be bound by new Air Berlin rules and be stuck paying for extra bags?

P.S. Any Oneworld status match opportunities out there for *G members that would help me on Air Berlin?

Of course u won't get extra allowance. The UA flight is completely unrelated. Perhaps buy an AS biz class into YVR from somewhere, and then have the allowance from that leg honored all the way on.

Unsure if airberlin & AS partner, but they're easy to macth to.

If I would like to book on air berlin what is the best way for me to see availability? Does BA have an accurate cheshbon or do I need to search on airberlin itself and if yes, whats the best way??

Doesn't AA show accurate AB availability?

not sure! I will try AA, but I am trying to get from TLV to JFK in business and would love to figure out how!

Giving you different options you can book USair with BA from TLV-PHL but good luck finding availability
