Discounted Eurostar tickets

Anyone know how to get a discounted Eurostar ticket? I need a one-way from LHR-CDG in like a week. Cheapest I found was $166

Pretty much available every single day. check their chart. July is all available besides 2-3 days.

Wow u are right on these dates. I didn't look up before because flying from lon to zrh/gva/rom/mil/bud etc all have limited availability so i thought cdg is included in the list

It is, but Eurostar is surprisingly faster and BA doesn't have flights at the exact time I need.

The key to finding cheap tickets is to book early enough in advance. I got tickets for the end of July for £34.50 (~$54) a way. You could sometimes get decent deals on lastminute.com

That link didn't work for me either (made me select a language after which I was rerouted to the homepage).

This link (I found via Google) worked, but it's only roundtrip (it seems), and not (significantly) cheaper than Eurostar.

You cannot redeem BAEC avios for Eurostar.

You can redeem avios.com avios for Eurostar.

Open an account at avios.com
Move some avios across via Combine My Avios
Ring avios.com to book Eurostar
Move your spare avios back to BAEC via Combine My Avios

Though doubt your tix will be 4,500
