Is it that zeros are inherently good or any phone number with multiple of the same digit in a row is considered a good number?

The former is considered better in some people's eyes, but the point is that they're easy numbers to remember. I think it makes a significant difference if the run of numbers is at the beginning/end of the number, or haphazardly dropped in there. I.e. I'd strongly prefer 718-342-2888 over 718-300-0216
