BA Gold, How dod that happen?

Hi guys,

I'm not complaining, just wondering.

I did not request, nor credited miles there, but got an email from BA executive club that Ive received the Gold status till well into 2011.

Any idea how this happened?

PS: i logged in online, to make sure its not a joke, an it isn't.
