Believe me I had a taiveh for the G37, just couldn't justify paying 35K vs 20K for a more compact car when the Altima blew me away when I test-drove it.

The Altima may have blew you away but not as compared to the G -- the G is simply a better drive (worth 15k better? perhaps to some people).

My point stands, you can get an Altima for $1-2k less/year, which is the better choice for people who don't care to drive an Infiniti.

My Brother in law - Shloime 845-641-1000 has the base altima for $145, sunroof and bluetooth for $179, and Leather for $199 incl. tax 12K a year 24 months.

2) You said I should be comparing to cheapest non-luxury.
3) I suggested the drive in a Kia cannot compare.

Agreed, but the fit and finish of the leather Altima is so similar to its G37 cousin (right down the the great ignition key) that paying 15K for a better drive and a smaller backseat/trunk is pretty hard to swallow.

The Maxima's relative is the M37 AFAIK.

It's all a matter of perspective.

My perspective from the beginning was (and still is) that some people don't care for the privilege of driving an Infinity (my first post in this thread), and can get a decent set of wheels for significantly less. There's no need to cite the extreme end of the spectrum (Kia and Maxima), where there are mid-range cars that are decent and cost less.

The context of this convo was whether this is a good deal, and my answer (which is still valid) is that if you don't care for whatever it is that comes with this deal (Infinity brand, better drive, nav, bluetooth etc. etc.) then save your money and by something else.

If you still don't understand, then I can't help you.

I've never had to pay a disposition fee. Who charges them?

Also, Nissan/Infiniti will waive up to $500 IIRC off damages if you lease/buy another Nissan/Infiniti.
