cheapest/safest/best way to pay for vacation rental overseas??

im trying to book a vacation rental home overseas and the seller would like a wire or bank transfer, which i obviously would not prefer, he said i can pay via pay-pal but i have to cover the costs which i believe is 4% for an overseas transaction, my question is, are there any better and or cheaper ways of doing it ??

If it's in a country that you know anyone, you can send them the money and ask them to make bank deposit etc.

dont know anyone

i wanna pay with a cc, its the most secure way....any prob i can charge back!!!

im looking for the cheapest way to make the payment?
