Anyone here ever research flying Air France to PPT? I want to fly from NYC (on Delta to LAX and AF from LAX to PPT) am trying to figure out the best mileage option. I thought transferring Chase to Korean would be best at 60/90 r/t but, after calling, it appears that option is only from LAX-PPT, not from NYC. The Korean agent said I would have to book the NYC-LAX by itself. This is weird b/c their chart says "USA-Tahiti by Air France : Economy 60,000/Business 90,000 miles".

FYI, J seats with TN are very easy to get in advance. 2-4 seats on many flights.

MLE is 50% farther (from NYC), yet somehow we make it work.

It's not about distance, though. It's about number of FF options to get there, and there's a whole bunch to MLE (on great products), while only TN and AF are possible to BOB (both of whose products stink).
