I stayed at the Park Hyatt Hadahaa in Maldives on the overwater bungalows with my wife for 5 days, (using hyatt 2 free nights offer and 20k pts per night) we also added ~300$ for the upgrade to overwater bungalow per night. i must say it was an absolutely incredible experience. After inquiring about kashrut possibilities they gave us the option of ordering from a menu they obtain from australian chabad caterers, the food was ok. We ended up going fishing and catching tunas so we just double wrapped and prepared it-
Anyways, i have to say the experience was great, but i doubt i would go back to the maldives.
It was a pain in the rear...
To get to the island we had to land in Male, then take another plane to Koodooo in which that flight had to make 2 stops before our final Koodooo destination. (meanwhile the majority of the plane were in burqa's)
Then we took a golf cart to the marina, and then a 30 minute boat ride at 1am (not the safest feeling in the world speeding through the ocean with nothing in site in pitch black night)
Also, as Dan mentioned earlier the muslim influence made it rather uncomfortable, especially at the male airport and the several rides till we got to the hotel. The ocean and beaches were amazing, amazing amazing.
Next on my list is Bora Bora, i think it would be more enjoyable-
