Looking for a babysitter (in BOB)? I call dibs... :D
At $128/night for an extra room plus the flight miles for a bbsitter I'm tempted :D.

But without paying, you do run the risk of not getting upgraded to an OWB.
Apparently OWB upgrades are pretty cheap (under $100/night) at either place.

From what I read, Bora Bora seemed to be several hundred.
Although, it probably depends on season...

I may have misread, but it can depend on occupancy and your status apparently.

Here's the BBN property:

Daily Getaways, bought like 1MM anticipating the WA J'lem, but this is an an incredible value for BB and Moorea!

How exactly did you do this?

Dan, I am sure the new WA will be a Cat 7 at 60K per night for peak season (I'm sure summer and succos is peak) so even at .5 its still $300 a night, way too much for you to be spending!! :). The value at Bora Bora is much better.

All those flights are into PPT.  You need to purchase the 45 minute RT PPT-BOB jump with some $400-$500 cold hard cash.
that's where your two cap one venture cards come in...

If he still has those points, knowing Dan he's spent them already:

They used to be worth a penny each, then they devalued to the tiered redemption.  Now it looks like they're back to a penny each.  I wouldn't hang onto the 112k miles for too long...

Looong gone.

I told you so. I take it you didn't redeem for $900 Hyatt certs before they devalued those, right?

Nope, already have a huge stockpile of non-expiring Hyatt certs from Costco that I bought for ~.76 on the dollar.

The $900 certs had expiry dates, but they were better than .76 on the dollar, more like .55 on the dollar.

The $900 certs had expiry dates, but they were better than .76 on the dollar, more like .55 on the dollar.
They were .57 and then became .72, but the real killer for me was the relatively short expiration date and the denomination amounts.

My typical Hyatt stay is $50-$100, so the $50 Costco certs work out well.. With Cap1 they were $500/$200/$200 and no change is given.

Sounds like ultra-cheap (especially with the Costco certs) FFN and an cheap/easy way to earn/requalify for status...

Yup, that's why I stocked up.  Still hoping for a fall FFN or else I doubt I'll requal for Diamond next year.

*A is just on NZ via AKL IIRC.
With AA you have TN from LAX and with DL you have AF and TN from LAX.

All those flights are into PPT.  You need to purchase the 45 minute RT PPT-BOB jump with some $400-$500 cold hard cash.
PPT-MOZ is much cheaper than PPT-BOB, only about $100 RT.
question of aa and delta have partnerships with Tn why cant u get mileage tickets from ppt-bob
