Personally, I wouldn't shell out for either. They're close enough in reviews that I'd go with the one which had award availability.

I'm currently booked at Hilton and LM in OWB.

The question is if the significant upgrade is worth $900 more, and do you know what the significant upgrade is? Is it the property? The OWB's or the service?

The Sofitel Bora Bora Private Island seems to get the most bang for the buck, according to what I'm reading, its located in the best part of the lagoon, and best for snorkeling. Its also better priced,  Should i ditch the le Meridian for this?
