If you're going once, do it right. LM is nice, but it doesn't compare to Thalasso. Rooms are nicer, service is better, view is better. See my TR. (Yes, yes, I know, I'm in the middle.)

How does one get award nights at thalasso these days? Even LM is almost fully booked for awards. I have 4 consecutive at LM in June/July which is practically impossible to find now...

Just an FYI - Le Moana has a ton of award availability in 2017. Books into a beach bungalow.

Is a 2 hour connection time enough in the airport, both directions?

Doesn't matter. My answer assumes PPT, which is by far the busiest and two hours should be fine.

Of course PPT. and any other flight gives us 4+ hours to kill and want to maximize our time in BOB.

I did 6:20 AM into PPT and 8:30 AM out of PPT. We made it in plenty of time and we were pretty much last in line for customs.

Depends on if you've done OwB before and how much it's worth it to you- personally I'd pay 150-200 for a night or two of I'd never done it before - but I would let pay for 5-7 nights of it for example.

Also there's not a ton of info on the new Conrad so no one really knows, but expect the benefits to be similar to what they were for the Hilton

I have already been in touch with them. At first they wanted $460 or so. I got them down to $235 with taxes included. Never been in one, and whole thing is 5 nights.

I would do it without thinking twice. What are you going all the way to BOB for?

I hear that- but I am also going for the snorkeling and relaxing and a 64k a night property. so now the question is for all 5 days? I am thinking the last 3.

I'm with you. The last 3 should be enough to get the experience. We all hate shelling out green.
