Does anyone know how upgrades work at the STR BOB?

Base room is very reasonable at 360k for 5 days, but what are the odds of getting an OWB from that room?

Also, how is there no wiki here?

If my experience helps at all: When I was there I booked straight into the OWB with points. I believe it cost me 420k points. A couple weeks before booking though I realized it made more sense to pay revenue and cost me way less points to sell MT to cover that.

With other SR’s in the past I find it can be pretty easy to secure an upgrade by emailing or calling prior to stay. Maybe even more so now during low occupancy covid season.

Spoiler alert to my TR... I much preferred the Conrad over the SR BOB.

Searching random dates all throughout the availability calendar i can't seem to find one night available to book a standard room reward for 89k. Seems like they blocking these rooms . Even for april 2021 only lagoon view suites available for premium room rewards 195k.
Makes sense they are blocking the standard rooms?

you can report them. IIRC they have the same exact room that they call two different things. One can use points at saver and one cant.

Booked yesterday’s deal with a friend for 2 days in January. We’re not looking for anything fancy or romantic, more like hiking and scuba diving.
