Does anyone know if IHG only releases award nights within a month or 2 ahead? I don't see any availability past January 15 for the year

If i have IHG free nights or 50K points,  Besides air fare and round trip from PPT-BB which comes out to $412 per person is there any other charges I need to consider?

The cancellation deadline is 1 week prior, don't see why a 2 week approach makes any sense.

In fact the only approach that makes any sense for any awards is checking several times daily.
