Are there ever any (targeted) offers for the personal card over 30k?
If I get a referral link from someone for 30k should I take it?

So I mistakenly signed up my wife for SPG card using a referral by email and not using the basic 25k offer. Now I realized I am trying to get them to honor the 25k offer. @ reps told me no way no how. Do I have any chance with Huca? Any other way? The promo is still around online all over, it was a genuine mistake, I thought the signup offer was a given for all new signups....

Also they say if I colse and reopen will do no good as well, since you are not eligible if you had a SPG before...

Ideas? Any hope for me here?

The "sale" includes an offer of 20,000 SPG points for $525. Therefore, certain rooms may be a bargain at that price. Especially with a plat cert upgrade.
i.e. you may get a $1200 room at the SLS or St. Regis for the $525 that you spent on points. All depends on preferences and timing priorities.

Athough I've never tried personally, people have reported that its fine as long as you have other Amex card(s) open.

Anyone have a history as to when this card offers the bonus?

I wanted to get the Starwoods card but noticed that the current offer doesn't seem very lucrative. How often does the card offer enhanced sign-up bonuses and are any expected soon? With the once in a lifetime policy I don't want to sign up for a bonus that isn't all that great.

Finally, does Amex still allow multi-browser method applications? I have an invitation to the PRG (only 25K) that I could use together with the Starwoods application for only 1 credit pull.

I don't recall SPG ever having a larger than 30k bonus which was just offered in June.

There's never any way to know for sure but I don't expect 30k and certainly not higher anytime soon.

Question: if I got denied for Amex biz can I call up Amex recon and transfer 50% of my credit line from personal Amex for example I have 20k credit line can I ask for 10 to be transferred ?

these days you can only get it once in a lifetime per personal card & once every 12 months for the business if you close it after getting the bonus. just wait 12 months

Thanks. Just got husband approved for the personal and found out that he had it years ago Guess I will have to reapply for the business card for him-- there's no way to change it from personal to business unless going through a new application, right?

correct, just refer some people through spg.com so the pull doesnt go for naught.. every referral is 5k points

If one SPG Amex card gives you 5 nights and 2 stays can you get 10 SPG Amex cards and automatically recieve Platinum status for having 50 nights? Anyone try that?

they don't let you combine any other person's bonus nights. Not even your wife's. (I know, I've tried)  The only thing that you can combine/transfer is the SPG points and the 5K referral points.
