my wife applied, and put down her EIN number, didnt add her social security. When she submitted the site said they need more time and someone would reach out. Today someone from SPG called and said they need her s.s # and a copy of it/or a birth cert.   I thought the whole point of business credit cards is that it doesnt hurt our credit or go on our history record of cards since we arent giving a s.s... am i wrong? should we give the s.s? if we do that, then how is this different then a personal card..thanks!
You still need to give a social. Biz cards dont hurt your credit if you pay on time. but if you do not pay they will come after you and it will hurt your personal credit.

Approval is like a personal card, they won't lend money, without any info, reporting isn't   like personal

but if you do not pay they will come after you and it will hurt your personal credit.

So when it asks for EIN or Social, can just put down social security number and it wont count against me personal for more cards. right?

I have the personal SPG AMEX linked to my SPG number and I just applied for the business card today but they didn't ask (or I missed it on the app) for my SPG number. If they generate a new SPG account for the card can I call them and have it switched to my SPG account?

If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.

I applied for the SPG business and got a "Congrats, you're approved" or something like that. I ordered an employee card and it said that cards will be here in 2-3 days. Later, I went to my email and see this: "We are excited that you've decided to apply for the Starwood Preferred Guest® Business Credit Card, and we're reviewing your application now. We promise to let you know when we're finished, or if we need more information."
Huh? This happen to anyone?

The emails can be delayed often. You can check the online status checker of you want to confirm.

Is there any reason i would keep the card for the whole year. I just signed up DW and if i spend the $7k within 3 months is there a difference if i cancel the card after 4 months or before the AF hits?
