I just applied for SPG business & Platinum (2bm) and on Platinum they told me I need to call as they have questions (which is a good sign), and on the SPG they wrote
 "Thank you for your application for The Starwood Preferred Guest® Business Credit Card From American Express OPEN and any Additional Cards you may have requested. We have processed your application but we need more information before notifying you of our decision"
 no number or anything:(

I was saying that he'll probably only have a personal referral link if he only owns personal SPG cards. People who have both personal and Biz cards will have the 2 referral options.

I have both and ref feral link was only for the personal. (chat was only able to find personal as well.) I had to use D93 link

That's a good link. Some accounts have both, and some have only personal links available for referrals. (Perhaps you don't use the biz card as often?)

According to the terms, I would only get 5,000 bonus referral points from a personal card, and not a business card, since I myself don't posses one.

I just called and rep told me that I can only get 1 amex, which do I choose. I took the platinum and got approved. Rep said I have to wait 30 days because cant get two amex in the same month anymore and I should try applying for the SPG in 30 days again. Should I just do a HUCA?

When I click on earn 5,000 bonus points for referring a friend by the Amex Offers section.

So u can't do Amex 2bm anymore?
I also applied for platinum and spg, and got approved for platinum but the "no number more info" msg for the spg, any hope? (One was personal and one biz if that makes a difference)
