How long does it take for SPG points to post after transferring from other SPG account?

A few (3-4) days IME.

I opened an SPG card a few months ago. I never had a Starwoods account before. Where can I find my complete SPG number?

The only way to transfer bet SPG accounts is if the addresses match for the past 30 days

so he should have him call add the home address to his account and in 30 days he will be able to have his friend tranfer into his AA account? and maybe just make the deadline for the current promo?

i guess another option is to transfer into that account and just have him book the tickets for him.

but i know that might raise flags at american especially if huis friend has tickets booked already

my annual is about to be due. just called there was no official retention offer added to my account for them to offer. they said since i was a long time member with very good credit history that they will waive the annual fee. it seems like this will be the last year of this card.

a free card with great SPG benefits sounds like a good reason to keep it next year, too.

Did it yesterday, so you think it would be there by the weekend or 3-4 business days?

The 24 month language on SPG card (from a few years ago) is from when you close the account or from when you received the bonus?
