5 days short of the Annual Certificate. That's what I was referring to. Not just a typical retention bonus I thought. Either way I'll post my data point after I call them if the certificate is anything different.

Called, but it seems that until the the 1st of August no one can do anything. I'll try again in about 10 days. Plus they mentioned about accepting a retention offer last year (they view my request as typical retention), so I guess it's true the 13 month wait.

My spg af hit mid july. I just called and they offered me $75 for spending 2k or 20k points for 2k spend, I asked what points spg or marriot they told me their is one system of points now (im confused  as I thought that was on the 18th). Any idea what she ment, and what is the value vs $75?
TIA

Even if its Marriott, I would take that over $75

Signup bonuses seem to be back. 75K (Marriott) for Personal and 100k for Business.

Now that it's August, is is better to continue to use an SPG Amex card and receive 2X SPG points on regular purchases, or the Marriott Card ?

I received an email about this offer: Book a 5-day, 4-night stay at The Westin Lagunamar Ocean Resort for just $319.
Is that legit?  Did anyone else?

Usually my points post on the 5th of the month, 2 days after statement closing. Anyone else experiencing delays in points posting from base spend on (consumer) SPG?
