I currently have citi dividends, freedom, and arrival
I'm thinking of doing a 2/3BM with amex.

I'm for sure considering Spg (consumer and biz) question is should the 3rd be a personal or biz and which one?

I tried for a biz with chase few months ago and was denied so bad luck so far. Not sure if 2 biz would be smart...

Should I just do 2BM  or do 3 (even tho I hear some ppl get apps canceled cuz of duplicates)

I applied for both SPG cards (BIZ & PERS) in my last 3BM last week Tuesday, got approved instantly for the personal, and was approved today for the BIZ, with 2 pulls that is... I don't know how some of you here claim to get it both with one pull, that seems to be next to impossible

I decided to do my SPG as a 2BM with Delta Gold personal. I had both aps all filled out last night, everything ready to go, and at the last minute, AMEX site went down. "Please try later." UGH!

So, this morning, I try both again, fill out both aps. Get it all ready. I do Delta on Chrome. Boom. Instantly approved. Quick, run to Safari to hit submit with SPG (which was the main card I actually wanted) and I get that "site is down message, please try again later." UGH! Swiftly as a blood doping gazelle, I opened a new tab in Safari again, filled out a new SPG ap (yes Dan's affiliate ap) and got.... a pending.

I'm wondering if this screwed up my 2BM. Or does getting a pending always screw up the 2BM even if they both go through within seconds of each other? Or is it m'darf nisht zein azoy medakdek and it's fine that the two aps were within a couple minutes of each other?

Pending doesn't automatically = 2 pulls.

Swiftly as a blood doping gazelle,

Got that also, just reapply, the second time I applied I got instant approval. It is weird though.

I would assume it just didn't go through and maybe there was no pull. But I have no proof, sorry I was late😴
Unless its the same day.

When downgrading SPG to a blue cash, what happens to the extra year warranty on purchases made with the SPG?
Also, does anything happen to Starwood points if no longer linked to an Amex card, do they expire?

Officially after 18 months of no use. In reality, however, IIRC Dan said they don't. CMIIW.

I've been away from this forum for some time but last i read was that as long as you have an open Amex card you can claim the warranty.

Has anyone (possibly only in NY?) tried switching from ConEd to Energy Plus for 7500 SPG points?
Did it work? Does it make a difference with the electricity?

@Dan On that list, JetBlue points no longer expire. I'm sure you are aware.
