I just spoke to a rep and was told if was an AU on someone's SPG in the past 12 months I would not be eligible for the 25K bonus. Is that a fact? :'(

I have two question I applied for a new Spg card but since I had two from years ago i did not receive the bonus is there anything i can do ?

and as I was reading the details it writes that you cant get starwood points by buying cash reload cards or the equivalent I.E. gift cards and they have a special code from shops to determine the items you are buying is approved for getting spg points? is that true ? does any one know of this ?

Cannot receive bonus if you've had the card within 12 mos. If that is not true, then you should have received.

I had thought not, but I did see one report a couple months ago on here that seemed to upend my belief. My guess is they still cannot, but can't explain that one report.

I got denied for a starwood card because my fico score is 679 and Amex says my risk score is too high. I have however a BGR card that allows me to charge about 22K/month (I checked on their online tool). Is there any way to transfer CL to a new card like we do with Chase Lending services (this is already after reconsideration that I called and it was pending until today again)?

I have a good CL with Chase, but I need Amex only for thier OPEN program, which gives you 5% cashback on Fedex up to 20K/year, we ship 60K, so three cards will save us 3K, not bad.

BRG is a charge card so you have no CL on it.

BRG is a charge card so you have no CL on it.

I understand I have no CL, but I have a spending allowance. With Chase, charge cards do have a CL, and you can shift lines. Any way for Amex?

I remember reading in one of the threads that you can't, can't find it now though.

I'm looking to cancel and avoid annual fee. Rep told me to transfer cl account must be open 13 months. I assume this is not true - any confirmation here? (I'll huca anyway)
Also anyone know what the current amount that must be left in account is?  - got a couple different answers while being tranfered around
