No one had issues with biz + personal 2bm, getting both bonuses ?
Not if you're past the 12-month timetable.

« Reply #783 on: September 14, 2013, 10:24:08 AM »
Called to get AF waived or GW ( or better het cxld and CL moved ) on my Amex SPG biz , And they told me I had gotten $35 already 2 months ago.

They tried to talk me into Simply Cash  5 -3 1% cash back card no pull no AF ever. Told them
Would sleep on it .

Does anyone know if it is 60 or 90 days wait time with Amex for additional cards?

What do you mean by the wait time for additional cards?

Hey, I would appreciate if you guys could help me with this.

1 - If I spent $5,000 (to get 30,000 SPG points) but did the $30 back by Shoprite (on both my card and the AU card), so my bill is $4,940, does that count as $5,000 in spending or $4,940?

2 - To meet the spending threshold, does all the spending have to be done on the primary cardholder's card or do purchases on the AU's card count too?

Thanks!

1. I believe it will not count towards the 5k

2. Both cards count

1 - I hope you're wrong. :)

2 - I hope you're right.

Can anyone else chime in on this from their experience and/or knowledge?
Thanks.

I recently had such an experience and I contacted AMEX they told that the Statement Credit counts like a Merchant Credit so I had to spend that amount again!!

1 - Ok, thanks guys.
I guess I'm going to spend another $60 to be safe.
As for the "Telzer Chakirah"; both my spouse and I did a 3bm, so there is a lot of spending to be done and everything makes a difference.
By the way, would the same hold true for my second question here (which is very similar to my question on this thread)? http://forums.dansdeals.com/index.php?topic=9772.msg589512#msg589512
Thanks.

2 - If that's the consensus.....sigh of relief. :)

Are people having trouble getting the bonus - specifically, the 20k after 5k spend?
Rumors are that Amex is denying it for people who have a Hilton, Delta or other Amex card!
