i don't think that's the case. An expert would know for sure, however, you may get a 5K point referral bonus if you send her a new spg app link.

Question: I asked my brother to send me an SPG referral link to try to add 5K to the spg bonus opportunity.

I'm filling out the app now -- Do I write that I have an SPG number?

It shouldn't affect the application bonus either way.

Ok - thanks. Approved for SPG and pending on Delta.
The Delta lady said that the SPG card can arrive April 19, and that they cannot expedite the mailing of the SPG card because that needs to be done prior to approval!??
Does that make sense?

Dan posted that one of the reasons that he loves the SPG card is "Additional cardholders are free on the Starwood card, and each one qualifies for their own promotion credits." can someone please explain what this means to me? Does this mean that if I add another card to my account and spend the 5k in 6 months that the second card would get the bonus as well?

No, he's referring to the twitter promotion etc.

also i chatted with AMEX to get the BP offer onto my card and they said they cannot add the offer to my card. Should I just try chatting with someone else?

Would'n't that be nice?! He means that the promos such as spend $30 at BP and get $5 back. Additionally, you can use AUs for small business Saturday.

Applied last nite for the starwood card. Today i noticed a decrease in credit line from another amex card that I have. I called amex and after speaking to three diff agents they told me that bec i dont use my entire credit line they automatically took some credit.

Has anyone had an experience where they take credit from one card to another without me asking to?

To clarify, that person will not be an au but would have their own card account. No bonus for adding au

applied about 2.5 months ago thru dans link spend the 5k and didn't get the 15k bonus i chatted with amex and they told me that they don't see the offer and they will open a investigation
