First purchase regardless of how much gets you 10,000 .
5k in 6 months gets another 15k.

I just got a email to refer q friend they will get 10k after the first purchase and additional 20k after 5k spend. Does that mean they can get 35k points or it includes the points for spending?

New lifetime limit for past starwood card holders in effect, it seems. But if not for businesses, does that mean that a new business, but the same SS# as past 12+ months ago rewards will get the 30K sign-up bonus?

Anyone have any experience with calling AmEx & getting them to match/increase the signup bonus on an existing AmEx card (I got this card about 1 month ago)? I just called AmEx, agent said AmEx is super strict, they don't change signup bonuses retroactively. I don't want to waste my time HUCA'ing if that's true.

Very weird if true, as AmEx is supposed to have superior customer service, yet Chase just matched two signup bonuses for me!

Its a hit or miss, I personally wouldn't spend too much time on it, as there aren't many reports of Amex matching.

if I try and make a referral its still only 25k offer. anyway to change that? what other cards should i apply for 3bm (already have gold)
