I have 2800 miles, is there anywhere worthwhile where I can transfer them out before I close my account?

Would I be able to transfer spg points to my MR rewards account?
Want to transfer miles out of my MR account, but I am 190 points short.
Spend $190

Call MR and ask nicely for them to give you 190 points.

Does the 30k spend needed to get SPG gold, be spended on one card or can be combined on the personal and business?

I applied for an SPG consumer card in all of the frenzy at the end of April even though I already had 2(1 biz & 1 consumer).  I used an old member ID that had received an email offer and I used a different email address.  I got the card but, after spending a few $ and the statement closed, it looks like I am not getting any bonuses.  It's probably a bracha levatolla but I figure I have nothing to lose by PUTPACing.  I just wonder if I will have a better shot if I cancel the old SPG consumer card before I call.  Any advice?  TIA

I have a open Starwoods Business card, can I open another one in the same business name? If not how long does the old one need to be closed for?

Cool story...

I applied for the business SPG 25K offer at the end of April, and as soon as the 30K offer was out, I chatted with Amex and asked them to match my signup bonus. The rep said they'll open an investigation and to check back with them. A week later I chatted again and asked on the status of the investigation. The rep replies "I have got an excellent news for you, i see 5000 points are pending and will be transferred by the end of this billing cycle to your account, its been taken care off." I was happy I got it since I knew Amex is usually a no-go with matching.

More than a week has passed and the points never showed up in my account, so today I followed up via chat and the rep says that they don't match blah blah blah. I replied with a copy of the chat where the agent told me "i see 5000 points are pending..." and he tells me that those points already posted. So I look at my SPG activity only to realize that those 5,000 points were for a referral. I started arguing with the rep that they never mentioned anything about those points being for a referral, but instead implied that I would be matched to the current offer. He goes to his supervisor and comes back with 5,000 points for me...
