Hi all,
I need to buy a black and white laser printer that prints 11x17 pages. It would be even better if it had a separate tray for 8.5x11 and 8.5x14. But I need something under $500. Any suggestions?

There are a lot of machines that can do things like this (most of the new-style cloud-connected/app-supported devices.) Brother calls it Easy Scan To E-mail and you can see a list of compatible devices here: http://www.brother-usa.com/connect/cloud-apps/scan-to-email.aspx

Price depends on in the other characteristics of the device. Inkjet or laser, B&W or colored and so on and forward.

Thanks - that's very helpful! We are looking for a B&W laser. Does it make sense that the cheapest one Brother lists is $250? Our current Canon laser B&W printer was about $65.

That is indeed cheap, but $75 isn't $65 and that was a steal even then. (you can also have Brother AIO devices for a bit more, say $89, but they are the older model that do not have these cloud magic.)

Other manufacturers do have some models with this kind of things, HP I know for sure, but I didn't find anything cheaper.
