Interesting to note, that while Priceline and Expedia usually allow free cancellation for flights booked on Friday, as that is the following business day, they are both (I checked) only giving free cancellation until tomorrow night for flights booked today (instead of giving till Mon night).
There we're definitely times that they did extend the policy like here http://www.dansdeals.com/archives/56129 and here http://www.dansdeals.com/archives/56007

Same happened last week

What was last week? That they did allow or didn't allow?

Counted Friday as a regular day, nor a holiday. Tickets booked on Thursday needed to be cancelled by Friday night

I'm aware that that's the general rule. But did you verify that about today specifically? As I mentioned, Expedia and Priceline are both showing free cancellation only until tomorrow night.

Hard coded?

I booked a(n award) ticket just before Shabbos came in. About half hour after Shabbos went out I realized that it was for the wrong day and the rep cancelled it for me on the basis of the 24 hour cancellation policy.
I want going to ask any questions.
Q
If you call you might be able to cancel the cancellation, worked for me on AA

I believe you (I'm also a TA). I was just asking if you verified this situation specifically, as Priceline and Expedia haven't extended their policy this year (as they did last year)
