They go according to the paid price. They have some kind of conversion rate. Search the main site for the equation

Just was told that southwest does not asing seats, rather they divide the plane into 3 sections & call sections a, then b, then c to board. As you board you select your own seats. Any suggestions how to get on the first or second section so you can get a better seat? Is there a way to get a business seat if the business section is not full?

Pay $12.50 per ticket for "Early Bird Check-in" to get you boarding position assigned at T-36 hours or use the check-in script in another thread here to get your boarding position assigned at T-24 hours.

Southwest said the 36 hours is just something that is automatic, it does not help with the section you get, sounds like a waste of money. do you understand the script & how to apply / work it?

Ithink your number goes by how early you check in. So you don't need to buy early bird check in to assure yourself window/ isle seat, just check in as close to 24 hours before flight time as u can

If I book a "Wanna get away" flight with points and then cancel, do I lose the points or do I get them back?
I only paid 15% by switching to dansdeals
