Call CO and tell them you want to fly in Biz and give them your CC info and they will charge you the difference in the fare from what you paid for your Coach tkt.

Or buy 30,000 miles + variable copay each way.

I assumed if they didnt have any *A miles they arent Elite so most likely they would never clear if theres alot of folks also on the list

Then again i could be wrong and they are Elite just used all their miles up

I've seen many EWR-TLV flights go out with empty's in BF during non-peak times.

is there any way to transfer aa or continental miles to starwood points?
I would consider trading spg points for continental. I'm looking for a CO upgrade so I might need around 60k to 180k onepass miles. Do you have that many?

You realize that an upgrade will run about 30,000 miles and $500 each way, right?

I would prefer not to trade less than 60k per person, because I don't want to raise any flags with Starwood. But to answer your question- I'm new at this & don't know the going rate, I assume 1:1.
Please let me know if anyone has 60k or more CO miles willing to trade for SPG or sell.

My latest shtick (correct at the time I pressed the "post button"), was adding a frequent flyer program number to a booking, and card holder would get credit for it, works by people who only have a last name and same gender in common. With star alliance that is.

As I realise that a family with 10 kids, each flying once a year would make it a gold card, meaning, that DD will stop functioning out of sheer bulk mails being pm'ed to me, I would need to set a price for it.

Any suggestion what would be fair to ask?

I actually need to makes some calls for it.
