Here are the final ships dates!

Ship # 019 (B777-200) ETR is TBD
Ship # 007 (B777-200) ETR is 11/25/10

Ship # 009 will go to HKG on 11/25/10
Ship # 020 will go to HKG on 12/3/10

So after 12/3 there will be a 100% chance of a lie-flat seat on CO777s!!!

dan you're slipping you usually repost off of FT in a more timely fashion;  http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/continental-onepass/993003-tracking-772s-flat-bed-53.html

So 12/3 all 777'd will be upgraded.
Does Continental ever fly any other boeing model from EWR-TLV?
do they typically use the 777 across country (ie lax-ewr)?

You'd have to be pretty unlucky now to get the old BF seats on a CO777 flight!

Flight just opened for my brother. It's ship #20 :(

Effective 11/29:
Lie-flat 777 ships (19): 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, and 22
Currently being retrofitted: 9, 19, and 20.
Chance of getting a lie-flat aircraft: 100%

:D :D :D

Finally time to try out BF on a 777!

Some seats are much better than others.  Be sure to do research (on FT, etc.) before flying!

And the service? Pretty shvach, besides that they seem to prefer certain dimensions and looks...

Reminds me of yeshiva days, where only the top 20 ugliest of the country were allowed to work there...

When I flew on CO new BF seats I felt they were the best seats I have ever experienced yet. They are far better than the lie flat but not actually flat seats.

I think the Delta suites are better, although I never tried them.

Seatguru is rarely right.
You need to find a review thread on the plane in question.

Huh?  They are lie-flat.

I think the Delta suites are better, although I never tried them.
Then what makes you think they're better?
DL's are leather.  I personally find it easier to sleep on soft cloth than hard leather.
I wasn't that impressed with DL's lie-flat 777 BE seats.

CO seats are true lie flat at 180 degrees unlike others which are flat but on an angle 170 degrees like AA. The new DL suites are very private and are supposed to be even better than CO BF.

Are u sure u had the newest ones?
