Guys, wake up, fly F (new) on LX, CX, SQ, 9W, TG, BA, etc

CO economy is like a low cost btw.
Obviously CO J won't compare to F on those carriers.  But it definitely holds it's own against J on most carriers.  Heck, CO J probably beats the hard product of LH F, let alone LH J.
And good luck finding F on airlines like LX and SQ...

For sure LH F beats it, even if just by the whole matsav that makes its seem/feel better.
SQ and 9W is difficult to find in F

LX, TG and CX are no problem

See how many flights to/from JFK you can find on LX...

Effective 11/29:
Lie-flat 777 ships (19): 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, and 22
Currently being retrofitted: 9, 19, and 20.
Chance of getting a lie-flat aircraft: 100%

:D :D :D

Finally time to try out BF on a 777!

I wish this is true, but it doesn't seem to be true. I made tickets for my friend on Dec. 1 from FRA-EWR on a 777 based on the fact that effective 11/29 all the 777's will have the new BF, and I just checked the flight status and it shows up as 777 #20 THE OLD BF (I guess I have some luck)

#1) I don't think it was ever out of service
#2) The continental seatr map shows the old configuration

Wow, that is bad luck!  Change the date if you can.

When I made the post CO showed ship #20 flying to HKG today to be converted, but there was an equipment swap and now ship #20 isn't flying to HKG.

So for now ship #20 is still out there and isn't scheduled to go to HKG within the next 2 days.

It takes about 2 weeks in HKG for each conversion.

Thanks Dan, It was actually a ticket from TLV-EWR connecting in FRA, so I just looked and it seems the direct flight from TLV-EWR on Dec. 1 opened in SaverPass  on BF, So there he goes a direct flight on a 777 with the NEW BF. (I guess it was worth it for me that they switched to ship #20)

Thanks Dan

Ship #20 is scheduled to go to HKG on 12/03 now.
If it actually makes it there then all 777's flying will be lie-flat.

Barring any last-minute changes ship 20 is still showing as flying today to HKG where it will be converted to lie-flat.
It's now safe to fly CO 777 BF!

In other news, 70% of the 41 CO 752 aircraft now have lie-flat BF seating and that conversion will be done by mid-2011.

Both the 752 and 772 do domestic flying (from EWR for example to MIA, FLL, PBI, TPA, MCO, IAH, and LAX) and are eligible for comp elite upgrades.

How is lie-flat a benefit for EWR-MIA? By the time you fall asleep the landing wakes you...

According to FT it seems that all active CO 752's are now lie-flat in BF, so you should be good if you have a 752 or 772.

All PMCO 772s should now have Economy Plus (and 110V power), great news for EWR-TLV!
Old config: 50BF / 226Y
New Config: 50BF / 63E+ / 154Y
