I finally got status matched with National. Took only a few days. Longer than Hertz, true, but not terribly long.

I made a res with National for a midsize. Should I make one with Avis for a full size, or is that possibly not enough for my wanted upgrade (8 seater)? Same question for hertz.

your best chances is probably with national [exec] where they might have some suv's minivans on the Emerald eisle.

officially AVIS PC won't upgrade you to a 7 seater. although some people had luck getting it

With rentals NOTHING is gareunteed. Yes they wud upgrade, but maybe there isn't any vans that size..... You shud daven to get an 8 seater and play it cool.

before you walk to the counter (have the family quiet on the side) go to the lot and check what they have. between the 3 u shud find s/t. best bet is national, but u can score with anyone really. a big smile to the agent and some chanifa- how is your day, u look like ur working hard..... plus some siyatta dishmaya.... I can name u the cars i got that way!

and dozens other, right now im driving a limited ford edge (avis). the right words go a long way.

folks with avis PC, please help a minute. check JFK SEP/24-26 intermidiate with your regular presidents club awd.
i'm a bit funcused on different pricing with different avis pc accounts. thanks

The original AWD I had on file was W0612001

I changed it to A177232

I get the same price of $172 with W0612001

No. they may go two classes higher but not to any specialty cars

On Avis.com I only see them mention Avis Preferred, and First.

I just made a reservation, and the agent said I am eligible to a 1 car class upgrade, from what I know Presidents Club gives a 2 car class upgrade.

I still see online my account shows as I'm a Presidents Club member.
