Yuma 9b says y both BM were destroyed

Another Gemara nidarim 81a and BB"m 5a say bec they didn't have simcha saying birchat hatorah. There's a yerushalmi in yoma/chagiga says אהבת ממון, and שנאת חינם.
Then tosfos kesibos 104a says without love for the Torah, it's leads to the love of money and intrinsically or automatically baseless hatred. With the love of Torah them there won't be love for money and therefore no baseless hatred!!!
