Multiple Entities for Amex Business Platinum bonus
« on: July 13, 2012, 02:43:13 PM »
I received a targeted offer from American Express for a Platinum Business card with a 100,000 point bonus after spending $10,000 in 3 months.  I have successfully gotten approved for 4 cards, using the same offer code and a different entity name/EIN each time within the past 8 weeks.  All of which are real, and active corporations, btw.

I have received 300,000 of the bonus points thus far and the remaining 100,000 should credit any day...  I have been able to do something similar with Ink Bold Business cards and currently also have 6 active ink bold business chase cards.

My question is - to what end?  Is 4 different corporate cards with Amex already pushing it?  What about Chase?

All under my same SS and different EINs for different entities that I'm a partner in.

Do you actually need to be associated with the entities you apply under?

yes - IME, they mail the paperwork to the location of employment/business.

Does anyone know the answer for that?
If I got a amex biz card in the past 12 months under one entity, can I apply under a different entity and receive the bonus?

This question has been asked numerous times but I don't think we ever got an answer.

Answer is, "no". Limit is one amex personal bp and one amex biz bp per person, per Amex type.

i.e. Limit one Amex SPG personal and one Amex SPG business for 2 total bp (bonus points) accounts.
Same with Gold. I've tried second, legitimate business with a sep EIN and after threshold was met, no add'l bp awarded. (ppl can cmiiw)

Thanks mate.
Sure -- Anytime...
Btw - the one that I confirmed that with was the Amex Gold. No bp for bix card #2.  (I think I tried the SPG, too, for Biz card #2; no bp points, either.)
