First of all lets get things straight, correct the title to Daka 99, as thats what they are called! Daka90 is a great website for travel deals in/outside Israel.
Second, I have news for you, you did call a crooked company. Daka 99 are a bunch of crooks, and are quite well known for it. The drivers know you take them just because of the price, not because of their service, so they tend not to offer it.
Although I do use them very often, I do know there is risks of them not showing up, coming late etc. When you ask the office the price, tell them to let the driver know, and than you will see it on their computer clearly.
You get what you pay for.
Ramat alon/bar ilan, will many times agree to 180, so might be worth it more.

Another similar story I had with a sherut ended up with the guy bleeding profusely.

SupeFlyer - Daka99 is in general reliable/legit. I've taken them countless times over the years and I don't think they have worse drivers than any other taxi company in Israel...

Was your driver on a conference call the whole time? If so, I've had him twice in the past month.... I would also like to push the issue and would you mind if I put in a call to the company?

As far as paying the extra money they sometimes ask for, I always tell them this is what the office told me if you want more have them pay you and I never - EVER - pay before I get out, along with my bags at the airport.

In fact my ultimate horror story was with Bar Ilan of all things....I'll also try and order the cab for 15-20 minutes before I really need to go if I'm in a rush.

Used them a couple of times to the airport definitely not worth it.
One of the times I asked the guy to smoke outside the car while I was loading up, he refused and wouldn't even help to load.
another time as we pulled up to the airport (I was in a big rush and my kids were screaming) instead of going to departures he went to the parking lot where all of the taxis hang out and ordered a Kabob! while we waited in the car! afterwards he takes us to the departures area.

i had the same thing over 5 shek- she (the driver was a girl) refused to give me the proper change. She said she is driving to the police- i told her to go ahead. Problem for her was i refused to leave the cab and i had the door propped open with my foot. i eventually gave up when she started hitting me- i cant hit a woman over 5 shek!

ya, taxis here in general are horrific, only 2 yrs ago i know a guy was going back to mercaz hatorah and the taxi said 50 shek, and at the light right near the yesh told the guy now give me another 200 or i make a left here and drop you off (in middle of an arab city) guy freaked out punched him and the arab pulled a knife and he just ran out, at the red light......

there are countless stories. :-) the best one might be when a cousin of mines luggage fell off the roof of the taxi and he just said im sorry...screw you..and drove to j-lem....

but all in all, there is a new taxi servicew who opened pesach time there called חצי חינם and you can even order them from america to pik u up at the airport ...and they garantee you 150

wow reminded me my most recent story, was when i pulled up to my apt building i handed the guy 200 and he gave me change (and i was watching him from where he took the change) minus 50 shek... i said you never gave me the change he said he did, we started fighting and then i just popped open the middle consule and took out fifty and booked :-) in a swift swoop ..lol

Their guarantee is worthless, my MIL called them and over the phone they refused to honor it and said that it's only for Romema.
