i think if you do moneh he will take every yellow light and let every little kid walk thru the crosswalks (if they even know what those are here) and exactly he'll take the long way thru traffic,

of course there is exeptions there is a guy yo-sef with ramot alon who does basically maalot dafna and surrounding areas and he is VERY honest -

like i said before, i took taxis exclusively in israel for 3.5 years (not 1 bus) , always put on the moneh, and never had a driver take a deliberately long way

my wife has had terrible cheats almost like going in circles, instead of turning left to the destination in a minute, he was turning right to come all the way round with some very long left turn, traffic lights on the way. Thankfully she made him turn around, in English...

i never had such crazy experiences with going in circles, but ive had issues with going down malchie yisroel type knowing theres construction and so on... the best way is walk or tus tus

I've had a story where I got picked up in rechavia, the driver took an extra long route and tacked on extra fees like for luggage and 3rd person etc; even though it was only me by myself with no luggage in the car. I spoke to him in english like a tourist and when I got to the destination I asked for a kabalah (has all thier info) in hebrew, spooked the driver out and he automaticcaly removed the fees, I asked him what he's doing and he told me he gave me a hanacha.

and BTW that wasn't the only time I had a story with the driver adding on extra fees.

that sounds like the story with me today, i bought a fan, i asked the guy and said how much he said 190 , he asked if i had cash i said cc he said fine then i pulled out 170 and said here if i pay cash he said ok.... i got home and i see it says on the box 170 shek! ....

haahaaa :-) i though ti got a good deal....lol....

The moneh was in the glove compartment and he tactfully (at leas tried) and quickly added them when he turned on the moneh and closed the compartment. I just played stupid wanted to see what would happen, If need be I would just get to the destination and leave without paying or at least pay the right amount.

the funny thing is that a guy on my walk home stopped me and asked how much i paid and then said oh i got ripped off....but doesnt rememeber where they sold it for cheaper...lol

its a hemilton and 20 inch metal - great guy for cheap electronics and u can bargin with him....i believe he steals it off the truck to begin with ...lol...got my dryer from him too
