SupeFlyer - Daka99 is in general reliable/legit. I've taken them countless times over the years and I don't think they have worse drivers than any other taxi company in Israel...
Was your driver on a conference call the whole time? If so, I've had him twice in the past month....
I would also like to push the issue and would you mind if I put in a call to the company?
As far as paying the extra money they sometimes ask for, I always tell them this is what the office told me if you want more have them pay you and I never - EVER - pay before I get out, along with my bags at the airport.
In fact my ultimate horror story was with Bar Ilan of all things....I'll also try and order the cab for 15-20 minutes before I really need to go if I'm in a rush.

so first of all it a gr8 amazing dryer and was brand new, they delivered it right to my door :-)
and ahhhhh the big secret americans dont know - is that israelis pay 3.30 for every time they use the train or bus, americans pay 6.60... when u go to the train the next time see when an arab or israeli puts in thier rav kav, ull see its half price then ur paying...and it only might be a dollar but each time adds up!
I assume thy us student ID etc , you can get a student ID for 50 Shekels

Taxi drivers always trying to screw tourist , back in the days , i pull a taxi , and ask him to drive me to Kikar Hashabas , he told me 40 shekel , since i was on the phone with china , it just show him with my had that i'm agree with the price.
later , once we past bar ilan / shmuel hanvie interaction he tells me , here we just past kikar hshabat and pull to the side.
i told him "סע עכשיו עד כיכר השבת , או שאני מגיש נגדך תלונה " basically drive now to kikar hshabat or i will complain to the misrad hatachbura , he drove me till kikar hshabat and then i told him , i don't mind to pay you , but i will have to complain on your behavior , he just let me go without paying Curse the Jews
