I'm surprised just 150 people filed complaints. Even if not about the mistake itself, but the way UA handled this by taking 5 days, doing it without apology, without the promised phone call, and without even a small bone of consolation.

Is there some way to file a complaint without the internet? It could be that the seemingly small number of complaints is a result of adherence to the principles of The Asifah.

For some reason my tickets were not cancelled as of yet. The problem is my dates are way off and I need to change them. Any suggestions?

You could always put in a call to United....... and you can rest assured they'll "resolve" your issue in short order.

If your ticket hasn't been cancelled yet, then it probably just slipped through the cracks. So calling them up will most likely just get you cancelled.

from when the DOT complaints were filed or from the time of the initial mistake?

Either way, I think the DOT is very smart about this. By the time they make a ruling there will be very few ppl who are still hung up about this. every day people lose more interest.
