The good ones at that desk will bend the rules for you.

I rarely get complaints from them hardly have to excuse myself. But Im finding them to knowledgeable lately.

-1, unless I'm missing something here... I kept on hitting a brick wall with those guys. They kept on not wanting to do things for me (even simple stuff like OJs), and kept saying "we're not Reservations, we're Web Support. If you need help with that, I can transfer you to Reservations".

Maybe I got a few bad apples?

I don't mean this in a derogatory fashion at all, but I've learnt a lot from experience calling, and my experiences now are very different than before I knew what I was doing.
