Flew with them recently and the level of comfort in business and service dedicated to business class pax was better than I have ever experienced.
But lh has really disappointed me in almost every aspect in business class it felt for me like ba /vs/af premium economy

LX service was top notch.

Addressed me by name and did everything possible to make my flight enjoyable.

My kid didn't have a seat and they let her sleep on an empty bed next to us.

CX would never do a thing like that.

KSML ex-ZRH was amazing.

Tasty salmon, all types of fish, veal and deli.

Also, when travelling with a spouse, LX is so more realistic as you can sit right next to each, meanwhile CX you need to get out of your seat to talk.

CX bed was a little bit more comfy then LX, besides that LX wins.

Again, LX was ZRH-JFK (10 hour flight) and CX was JFK-YVR (5.5 hour), so maybe you can't compare.

Glad you had good KSML... it's mind boggling why they can't have better KSMLs in F. The KSML for our first 3 LH segments was borderline inedible.

Finally, on this segment, we got a GREAT meal. Too bad I didn't take pics. I'll take one of the dessert.

True.

It wasn't like FCT where you get driven to the plane. Rather we had a LX van (all to our self) take us from the lounge to the gate on the other side of the airport.

I'll never get sick of the car to the plane. On our way here, we got the Cayenne. On the way back, we got the brand new S550 (may have been 350). Glorious.

The LO 787 seat looks very nice and it's cheaper.

Not like UA F service will be anything to write home about anyway.

And the LO 787 service was VERY good also. Meal wise, the Kosher mean was the worst I ever had.
