AA Award ticket change fees

Sorry, I searched first but couldn’t find the answer.
Can anyone advise what AA charges to change an AWARD ticket?
I found a nonstop and want to change my ticket.

$75 is only if ticketed outside 21 days, and later changed within 21 days, but his change looks like same-day change.

Just did that last week and they didnt charge me anything.

Yes. basicly you book for a later time and then you switch it to within 21 days and they dont charge if its the same airports.
I did it last week and I know people who do it all the time.

So if I have s/t booked within 21 days and want to change it (if s/t opens up), there's no way to escape the fee?
What if I booked biz, but one of the segments is economy. Would they allow a change  if that meant flying all in biz?
