I am AA Gold and received my upgrade confirmation 23.75 hours before my flight.I called AA right after it was confirmed to request the KSML and was told there is nothing they can do since it is within 24 hours of departure. My flight is tomorrow morning.Any suggestions?
they will give you the ksml from economy? - which is probably still on the flight - confirm with check in agent (take food just in case)

I called months in advance. Its written"bipheirish" on their site. I dont know when you last tried it but am willing to bet you would not be successful today unless you are flying transcontinental. You left out a line: In First and Business Classes on non-stop transcontinental flights in the U.S..
