I don't know much about mobile internet but i'm looking for a cheap good unlimited plan (if there is) for traveling, if anyone knows of any?

What country are you traveling to? And to clarify you're looking for an Internet package for your phone?

I'll be travelling around the US. I need a mobile internet with the capability for alot of data for my laptop. Would a phone be able to do that for me? I don't currently have a phone with internet is there a way I can get a temporary or prepaid for short term?

Rent or borrow a mobile broadband card
Some plans allow you to use with laptop - they fail to mention your phone calls will go to vm
Check it out first (especially in areas of 3g only)
