Samsung WEP410 Rebate Issues

 I just checked the status of the rebate http://sg.mycheckstatus.com/ and it comes up “Non-qualifying: An original Order/Rebate form is a requirement of this offer.”

So I called the Rebate department, and was told that you must have an original rebate form from the manufacturer, and that the PDF on Amazon and Buy.com was posted illegally.

So I called Amazon abou this, and they gave me a $30 credit to my CC, but for those who got this through buy.com I’m not sure what you’re options are…

Good Luck If You Get It All The Luck To You But I Did Not Bother To Risk 30 bucks you should always call the one offering the rebate before you go ahead with it.

Ya, Amazon is amazing.
Even withiot Amazon though if you put it on an AMEX you'll be completely protected.

At this point it seems that Samsung got the message. My status is now showing In Process instead of rejected. Sounds like some people will be paid to take this.

In case I was unclear, I meant that some may be paid by both getting refunded by Amazon and then getting the rebate.
