I have 5324 Iberia Avios points. I would like info if I can transfer the point to another airline. Like BA.

1. You can book BA awards with these points.
2. You can transfer to a BA acct with the same name after both accounts have been opened for 3 months.

I want to transfer From Iberia to BA. Your post is from BA to Avios

AFAIK it's supposed to work both ways, but I have no personal experience.

If you transfer AMEX>IB then BA>IB should work.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Your IB account has to be active. As far as I remember, I had to transfer 1000 from Amex to 'activate' the account.

Now it works both ways.

How long do MR>IB transfers usually take?
