HELP im stuck in Lakewood for the summer

Basically im looking for some nice day trips not too far from Lakewood(within an Hour or so). Can either be fun or scenic......
PLEASE HELP my wife is down my back about this ;D

Are you looking for kids/family or just adults?
Have you looked at thingstodonj.com
Do you want museums, boating, fishing, parks, amusement parks, farms , zoos
what kind of entertainment?
cape may, philadelphia, camden theres a lot around lakewood

Manasquan Reservoir-kayaking biking playground fishing. Actually, Lakewood's a great base for day trips. Check out funnewjersey.com
